ANS is associated with the International Kundalini Yoga Teacher Association (IKYTA) and contributes significantly to its development.
The corner stone of the school are the teachings of Yogi Bhajan. ANS runs independent centers in various cities in Europe and Russia.
The school cultivates a profound connection between all students and helps build an ever growing international network of teachers and
community centers.

The headquarters of the school at Domaine Le Martinet are situated in the French Alps, south of Grenoble.
This is also the home of the mother ashram, a local community that applies the teachings of Yogi Bhajan to everyday life.

Format

The training consists of three residential weeks. During these weeks we will apply the teachings to everything we do. The base of our work is a daily early-morning practice (Sadhana), a yogic diet and seva, which is selfless service for the good of all. Together we will create an environment, that is both challenging and uplifting. This is a rare opportunity to go deep into the experience. So that we can broaden the understanding of who we are.

Each day we will also gather in study groups of 4-8 people: to share experiences and work on special themes. Each group will be assigned a mentor that will help facilitate the process during the weeks. The mentor will also support group members with their personal study and assignments throughout the whole training.

The 1st and 3rd week of the training take place in in the Netherlands. We will meet in a seminar house located in the middle of nature with many old trees, shamanic power places and an organic herb garden. The middle week takes place in an ashram in the French Alps where Karta Singh lives with a local community. In that week you will meet all ANS School Level 1 students in a unique gathering of more than 150 people. You will become part of a larger international network of yoga teachers. Learning together will be an important step to develop group consciousness.

Yogi Bhajan

yogibhajanYogi Bhajan, Master of Kundalini Yoga, came to the west with a stated purpose: to create teachers, not to gather students. He explained that students must initiate themselves by adhering to the discipline and practice of the technology. You do not need to find the master, you have to be the master he would say.

For over 30 years he traveled around the globe to train thousands of teachers. In 1994 the International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (IKYTA) was formed to further spread the teachings throughout the united effort of Kundalini Yoga teachers worldwide.
